Child Licensing is a legal requirement for all children of School Age to work in the film, television and commercial industry.

A child performance license is a legal requirement for any child Under 16yrs working professionally, it can sometimes take a while for the local council to organise so the quicker you can get the information to them the better.
The license is set out in 3 parts, the production company/casting is required to organise PART 1 and PART2/3are organised by you the parents/guardians and your child's school will need to give permission.
You will also need:
· 2x passport pictures
· Birth Certificate
· A letter of authorisation from the school on a school letter head.
Once compiled All of this information needs to be taken to your local council in order for the licence to be processed before the filming takes place.
Some councils allow fast track licensing, alternatively there is open licensing available for those who work on a regular basis - ask your local council about these specific details to allow less delay in application processing time.
