Please be off Script for next week’s lesson as we will be filming the Scenes as a Screentest in the studio.
If you wish to, please feel free to arrive from 18:00 for costume checks, vocal warm-ups and final rehearsals. The first to arrive will be the first on set, which means if we have spare time at the end, the first people to shoot may have a second opportunity.
Costume: No Reds, No Cheques, No Stripes, No Logos, No coats or jackets that omit sound (puffer/Gore-Tex jackets) Please bring two choices to class and we will decide which works best.
When selecting your costume consider what we have discussed in class: Who is the character? What are their interests? How do our clothes define who we are or what we want to be? Consider the setting- A School Room/Library- How does this come into play? Consider what style the character has, their social background and how they might be feeling on that day and why.
Hair and Make-Up- If you need to make alterations please ensure you arrive early on the day as we will not have time in lesson for this.
Most importantly, have fun with this and be creative.
