Keep the Camera Rolling - 6 Movie Blunders That Made The Final Cut

Whether you flub a line or trip getting to your mark, all actors make mistakes. This is what make us human!
Blunders aren't an end all thing and in some cases, they can add a lot more to the scene and make the character more human! The team at IPM have put together their top picks for where actors' blunders that made it into the final cut:
'
1. Guardians Of The Galaxy- Oops, My Bad
Now we all know how powerful the infinity stones are,  and we've seen how much damage they are capable of doing.
But cast your minds back to the first Guardians Of The Galaxy film, Chris Pratt's Starlord is about to hand over one of the stones to the Collector, this stone that is capable of causing a great calamity.....And he drops it.

Yes you heard right, while it seems like something Starlord would do, it was in fact an act of clumsiness by Pratt who quickly retrieved it and continued the scene like nothing happened.

2. Lord Of The Rings Fellowship Of The Ring- Mind Your Head
The Lord Of The Rings had given us many things since it was released, introducing a new generation to Middle Earth and giving us many fond memories.
Like when Ian Mckellen's Gandalf enters  Bilbo's house, we see the grey giant struggling to adapt to the houses small proportions, as he bumps into the chandelier. Once he steadies them he quickly turns and hits his head on the door frame leaving him dazed.

While the, chandelier was scripted, Mckellen hitting his head was not and it definitely got a few laughs out of us, but this goes to show that even the most experienced actors can make some blunders.

3. Princess Diaries- Are You Okay?
So far we've mainly looked at all the men who had made the blunders but what about the women?

Well in the princess diaries, Anne Hathaway is talking to her best friend in the basketball court, as she climbs up the seats, Hathaway falls through the gaps taking everyone by surprise.

Ouch, at the same time it worked as we are greeted by Mia's driver Joe, showing concern for her well being. The director loved the moment so much that it made the final cut!

4. Mission Impossible Fallout- Did you get that?
Now its hard to be surprised by someone like Tom Cruise to cause a blunder, as we've seem, the man is crazy. He's climbed the Burj Khalifa, fought in free fall inside a plane and hung on to dear life outside one.

But his blunder came in the latest mission impossible film where he was chasing the baddy on the rooftop, Cruise made a jump over two buildings, however he did not plant his foot correctly and had sprained his ankle.
Now at this point you would think he would stop, but instead Cruise continued the scene climbing up the building and limping off camera.

5. The Usual Suspects- In English Please
A well written film with an amazing plot twist, you may be surprised that the blunders can be found in the iconic line up scene. Originally this was supposed to be a serious scene without the tomfoolery,  and for that we can thank Benicio Del Toro who would fart in each take of the film making the cast laugh and cringe.

It was clear that the director was not impressed and we can hear the director telling Benicio of as he tells the character to speak in English. But this goes to show that the film set while serious is also a place where actors can have a lot of fun.

6. Django Unchained- Glass Hands

Of course this has to be one, while DiCaprio's character Calvin Candie, had cemented himself in our minds  as a vicious and sadistic plantation owner, and we were terrified for our heroes as they were found out and fell victim to his rage.

However DiCaprio had actually cut his hand on the glass and the blood we see is real, but the director, instead of calling cut, left the camera rolling and we see DiCaprio continue the scene while he is still bleeding. He even smeared his blood on the actress playing Django's wife. Not so pleasant, but we definitely remember his role for this moment.
